How much does this service cost?

Auditions UK charge just £5.50 per month. There are no set up fees, no cancellations fees and no hidden costs guaranteed

Can I cancel my membership if I wish?

Yes, simply send us an Email any time and you will be instantly cancelled

Will I get paid?

Payment varies greatly depending on the type of opportunity. A simple days casting on set as an 'extra' may offer payment whereas a modelling shoot for a top UK magazine may not, but could lead onto much bigger and better things that may in turn lead to payment.

Does Auditions UK keep any of the money I earn?

No. Auditions UK is not an agency and therefore, we do not keep a percentage of any money you may earn. Any money you earn, you keep entirely.

Opportunities

What type of auditions and opportunities will I find in the members area?

Auditions UK post auditions and opportunities in the area of TV and Film, modelling, singing, dancing, bands, reality television, voice over, presenting, radio, theatre and many other areas. If we think something can lead to fame and meets our quality threshold, then we'll post it.

How many opportunities are there in the members area?

This depends on what's available at any given time but as a general rule of thumb, you could expect to find between 30 - 40 quality opportunities to choose from. Each day, more opportunities and auditions are added to the members section as they come into our office, but some are also taken off as they become unavailable.

I have seen other websites offering many hundreds of active opportunities on their websites?

Be cautious of these. They may have many opportunities but the massive majority are 'dogs' and worthless. May are only for other countries. See question below.

What calibre of opportunities do you post?

We only post quality opportunities and auditions. Many other websites post hundreds of opportunities but most of them are usually a) out of date, b) really useless or c) very specific, for example, 'Australian speaking women with brown hair that can also speak Japanese required for movie shooting in Germany tomorrow' - very unsuitable

How does your quality threshold system work?

When an opportunity arrives at our office, it is subject to evaluation and the following checks by our team - Credibility, excitement factor, practicality and reliability. The opportunity is then given a pass or fail. Those that fail are thrown away, those that pass can then be given a rating from 1 to 5 and posted in the members section

How often is the members area updated?

Almost daily. We have 3 teams split into the areas of media research, film production research and vocal recording. Between our teams, we bring the very latest and best opportunities and auditions to our members before they hit the general public

Some of the opportunities in the members area ask me to send a photo to them. What type of photo should this be?

If you are asked to send a photo by Email or post, you should send a standard passport sized photo. Some companies may specify a certain type of photo such as 'full length' or 'headshot'. Professional photos are rarely required

What are the age restrictions?

There are no age restrictions on joining Auditions UK but some of the opportunities have age restrictions on them

Will joining disrupt my work / school / college?

You are free to pick and choose what auditions to apply for. If a film shoot needs you for 4 days in a row, then maybe its not for you. Some opportunities may be a one day auditions for a new pop band. You get to choose!

Do I need any experience

No. although experience can help, most opportunities that we post welcome beginners.
